Our editorial team is made up of the people who built and run the platform - developers, travel researchers, and cruise enthusiasts who use ChooseCruise for their own trips. We launched in 2024 with one goal: make cruise pricing transparent.
Every article is reviewed and approved by our team before publishing. We only cover topics we have real data on - if a claim is in our content, it's grounded in the pricing database we run every day.
How we work
Four principles that shape everything we publish.
Data first, always
Every article starts with our pricing database. When we say a cruise line typically drops prices 45 days before departure, it's because we've seen that pattern across thousands of sailings - not because it sounds plausible.
We only write what we track
We cover cruise booking strategy, price patterns, departure ports, and cruise line comparisons. We don't publish generic travel content. If it's not grounded in data we actually have, we don't write it.
No sponsored posts
ChooseCruise earns through affiliate partnerships with travel agencies. That relationship never touches editorial decisions. We report what the data shows - even when it reflects poorly on a partner.
Corrections, not cover-ups
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Pricing data changes, cruise lines update policies, and markets shift. Our content is living documentation, not archived opinion.
