If you're new to cruising, this is a good starting point. Helped me decide instead of confusing me.

First time booking a cruise and this made it much less overwhelming. Clear steps and no pressure.

I liked that I could compare options quickly instead of opening multiple websites.

Cruise deals, answered
Where are the best cruise deals right now?
On this page. The price drops at the top are live: every fare shown is a current price that fell since we last checked it, with the previous price beside it so you can see the size of the drop. The browse section lists current fares by departure port, destination, cruise line, trip length and month of departure.
When do cruise prices drop?
Fares move with demand, so there is no single date. Two windows account for most of the movement: Wave Season, roughly January to March, when lines discount heavily to fill the year ahead, and the last two to three months before departure, when unsold cabins are released at lower fares. Because a fare can fall and then rise again, watching one sailing beats waiting for a season.
When is the cheapest time to cruise?
Shoulder seasons, when a region is still sailing but demand has dropped: September and October in the Caribbean, November in the Mediterranean, and late April or September in Alaska. Repositioning sailings, which move a ship between regions in spring and autumn, are usually the lowest per-night fares of any itinerary, though they involve more sea days and a one-way flight.
How far ahead should I book a cruise?
If you want a specific ship, cabin grade or date, book early: the cheapest cabins in each grade sell first, and that is especially true for school holidays, Alaska and the Norwegian fjords. If you are flexible on ship and date, waiting into the final months often costs less. Either way, the fare you book at is rarely the lowest one that sailing will show.
What is included in a cruise fare?
A standard fare covers your cabin, main dining room meals, onboard entertainment, pools and the fitness centre, and port taxes. It usually excludes specialty restaurants, alcoholic drinks, shore excursions, gratuities, spa treatments and Wi-Fi. Luxury lines such as Silversea and Regent Seven Seas include most of those extras in the fare instead.
Does ChooseCruise cost anything?
